New Look – Same Great Products and Service

IMCO tools a brand new look with renewed commitment to quality

All living things go through transformations as part of their life cycles, and the new logos represent the transformation of IMCO and Menlo into a unified brand that is recognized throughout the world.

PERRYSBURG, Ohio – September 26, 2006 – That's how Perry Osburn, president and CEO of IMCO Carbide Tool Inc. introduced his internal staff to the exciting new look of IMCO. During a kick-off breakfast event at the Perrysburg manufacturing facility on September 21, 2006, Osburn unveiled a fresh image for the company. The colors and style may be new, but the level of customer service and commitment to quality are familiar just like an old friend. After 22 years in business, IMCO Carbide Tool Inc. has taken a fresh look at their branding, their marketing materials and their commitment to meeting their customers' needs for products and services. The new strategy represents the final merging of the IMCO and Menlo brands with a unified look that emphasizes the shared resources and common identity.

“I feel it's important for our distributors and customers to understand that re-branding the company is a symbol of our commitment to deliver the high-performance tooling that's needed to compete in a global economy. This change, though small and symbolic, is a way of asking our customers to take another look at IMCO and see the changes we're making in products and customer support.” said Osburn. “I want the new look to reflect the common parentage of the IMCO and Menlo brands, and make customers stop and think about the company in a new way.”

Re-branding IMCO and Menlo is a positive and important marketing step to move the company forward. IMCO's experienced, enthusiastic and customer-focused employees are most proud of the superior performance of the products developed in recent years. Through careful and thorough research and development, IMCO has created products that improve a customer's productivity in a variety of applications. The company strives to deliver every product at competitive prices that create real value for customers.

Since 1984, IMCO Carbide Tool Inc. has focused on one goal – to provide manufacturers in a variety of industries with quality products that will help them achieve new levels of profitability, customer satisfaction and a competitive advantage. By revolutionizing the way its tools are designed, produced, tested and used, IMCO strives to meet the ever-changing needs of a technologically diverse customer base. In serving the needs of customers worldwide, IMCO will continue to focus investments on the areas that matter most to the customer – product quality, performance and service.
